Questions people ask first.
Getting started
What happens on the clarity call?
We talk about what’s going on for you, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help and which option fits. No pressure, and no hard sell.
What does “a flexible nervous system” actually mean?
One that can mobilise for a challenge and then recover. Everyone goes into survival mode sometimes, and that’s healthy. The problem is when your brain keeps predicting threat after it has passed. Flexibility is how reliably you come back into regulation.
Is this therapy?
No. I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If something comes up that needs a therapist, I’ll say so.
I’m neurodivergent. Is this for me?
Yes. My neurodivergent clients often describe reaching the end of the day completely depleted, having spent their energy masking just to get through it. I work alongside any medical or therapeutic support, not instead of it.
Sessions
What happens in a session?
- 1
Start with what’s live
The conversation you’re dreading, the decision you’re stuck on, the pattern that keeps repeating.
- 2
Work with it in real time
We notice what your nervous system does, and find your way back to feeling safe.
- 3
Leave with a new response
Different responses and resources you’ve practised, so you can start changing the script.
I don’t have time for homework.
That’s OK. We work with your capacity and your pace.
Does the other person need to be involved?
No. The 6-week Programme is 1:1, because the work starts with the one system you can change: yours. If it’s a working relationship and you’d both like to work on it together, that’s what the Relationship Reset is for.
Is it confidential?
Yes. What you share in sessions stays between us, and I never use AI to record, transcribe or summarise them.
For organisations
How does working together start?
Every engagement begins with a free clarity call, followed by a simple one-page proposal. You choose the format that fits: the Leader Programme, the Relationship Reset or a coach in residence.
What does leadership hear?
Leadership hears overall themes, never personal details. Individual sessions always stay confidential.
Do you work alongside HR and existing wellbeing support?
Yes. I work alongside HR, employee assistance programmes and clinical support, not instead of them.
How do you measure progress?
We agree what success looks like before we start, and measure it in three ways:
- People measures: a short, anonymous check-in at the start, midpoint and end, covering stress, recovery, sleep, energy and confidence. Results are only ever reported as group themes.
- Business measures you already track: for example HR escalations, absence, retention or engagement scores, compared before and after.
- Structured reviews: three-way reviews with the leader and sponsor at the start and end of the Leader Programme, and a themes report every quarter for a coach in residence.
Wearable data such as heart rate variability is optional, and always stays with the individual.
